fatherly ancestors

Ymap   Kor/Coos/Mieke/Marja/Nura - Kornelis - Kornelis - Adrianus - Pieter - Pieter - Pieter - Pieter - Kornelis - Johannes C. - Cornelis P.? all van Spijk

Round about 65.000 years ago (between 55.000 and 75.000) - or 3000 generations People pulled out of central Africa because it became more and more a dessert. Via Libanon they spread themselves about the whole world.

The DNA-chromosome is only the indicator for the male line of son - father - grandfather - etc. and is only copied to the direct children and it stops by the daughters.

The eldest known father ancestor is Johannes Cornelis van Spijk (born. ca 1675) in probably The Hague.

The line of fathers comes from what now is Kenya and went via Libanon, middel Asia, Poland to the north west of Spain. There stops the knowledge for the moment about around 25.000 years ago to end in the North of Scandinavia 7000 years ago, after that the family moved to the south of Germany north of the Alps ca. 1700 BC. But the research goes on from National Geographic.

((update march 2009)

This knowledge comes from the DNA ttests who I , Coos van Spijk (owner of this website), did in the light of the project Genographic.

Some of the data of the DNA-chromosome test: the DNA belongs to the tot de Haplogroup R1b1-U106 (M343). This DNA was owned bij the group of people who are descendants of the first modern human beings known as the Cro-Magnon human. They arrived 35.000 years ago in Europe while the Neandertalers still were around. From there they travelled via the North of Scandinavia to the south of Germany.

They made woven clothes , lived in huts to resist the chilly climate - icetime. They made and used avanced tools of stone, bones and ivory.

National Geographic keeps us updated on their findings and matches between other people with the same marks. Than it seems to be that the most matches come from Great Brittain, but they come also from whole Europe with a tendence to the eastern part. This maybe has to do with the interests for this kind of research from peolple in these countries.
